At the Birman Cat Fanciers Club of Qld's show in May, Stormy received a best in show in the desexed ring, from Judge Vickie Shields (TICA) U.S.A. Stormy came in 3rd overall in the Birman specialty ring, judged by Vickie Shields (TICA) U.S.A. There were 59 Birmans entered.

Black Storm is a very gentle boy. He lives in the house with us & the three girls. He loves to play with the girls & is very gentle with them. When we mind other cats, i.e kittens we have sold & come back to us for a holiday, Stormy is the first to greet them. The girls are a little more cautious. Stormy has had & still has a very successful show career. He has won best in show & Reserve in show many times, with lots of other placings. Stormy's favourite spot is on our bed, flat on his back, with all four legs in the air, sound asleep.
